Welcome to episode 54, girl, take the lead for each week.

00:00:09
We explore Womanhood and Leadership and I'm your host.

00:00:13
Yo, Kenny this week we're celebrating and there's no.

00:00:20
Yeah but about it. I was talking to someone today

00:00:25
about this about being a. Yeah.

00:00:28
But kind of Ian, which is to say a person that cannot and will

00:00:34
not be happy or satisfied under any circumstance.

00:00:39
No matter what the outcome of any situation.

00:00:43
So, rather than be, yeah, but let's just be joyous and happy

00:00:50
for our accomplishments, for this past year.

00:01:01
This is quite amazing for us to accomplish what we have is share

00:01:06
because there's something called pod, fading case you haven't

00:01:10
heard about that, it means that 75% of podcasts that get

00:01:15
started, fail to go beyond seven episodes.

00:01:20
In addition, 44% have less than three episodes.

00:01:25
So here we are a year later. Still putting episodes up on a

00:01:31
weekly basis. So it's time to celebrate our

00:01:34
podcast and all those courageous hosts out there, sharing their

00:01:39
voices, and passions, and thank you to you our listeners for

00:01:43
supporting us. So, it was one year ago, on

00:01:46
January 25th, I posted episode 1 For girl, Take the Lead titled

00:01:53
ways. I can sound wimpy with my

00:01:56
sister-in-law, Andrea, my daughters, Emma, and Kiki.

00:02:00
That episode started everything, because in that episode, I was

00:02:05
finding my own voice to leave this podcast.

00:02:09
Funny how that works, huh? And here we are today with

00:02:12
episode 54, wow. So here we go.

00:02:19
Enjoy the listen. So what did we achieve in 2022

00:02:27
that we have reason to celebrate?

00:02:29
You might ask, well, we've had over 4 downloads with 54

00:02:35
episodes, and that's more than 94% of other creators in the

00:02:40
business category and we've been heard and over 13 countries with

00:02:46
the US. Finland, Germany, Thailand, and

00:02:50
Australia being the top five That's in the top 25% most

00:02:56
shared globally. And our listeners are mostly 28

00:03:01
to 60 years old, and seventy percent female.

00:03:05
So, we have a very wide variety of listeners.

00:03:11
Thank you. Thank you, thank you.

00:03:14
In 2022. We did the following, we enter

00:03:17
viewed 33, guests, had 21 episodes discussing different

00:03:23
books. Featured eight organizations.

00:03:28
And 11 of our episodes had gen Z or Millennial hosts and guests.

00:03:36
And what we learned from you was what you liked best about our

00:03:40
episodes by looking at those that were in our top 18.

00:03:44
And in those top 18 emotions or topics that you like the best

00:03:51
and they accounted for about sixty percent of our total and

00:03:55
our celebrity episodes were very popular in episode 50.

00:04:00
I talk to you about the five themes, we've used during the

00:04:04
year being one raising In our voices to observing our

00:04:09
emotions, three learning from others for developing

00:04:15
strategies, to break through limiting beliefs and five having

00:04:19
fun. And we will continue those

00:04:21
themes into 2023 and go deeper like, enter emotions by finding

00:04:27
those guests and authors who can teach us and Inspire us.

00:04:34
Well also continue to be a platform for Millennials and gen

00:04:37
Z women to speak up and share their voice about leadership.

00:04:42
This is super important to me and you will continue to hear

00:04:46
from Kiki and Emma from time to time will also continue to raise

00:04:50
the awareness of community organizations, working hard to

00:04:54
lift others up. Plus we've got to have some fun.

00:04:57
So those celebrities spotlights will continue into this next

00:05:01
year. Plus, I promise to do the

00:05:03
research, Each for each episode to.

00:05:05
Hopefully save you time. You know, you may remember our

00:05:09
work and episode 52 about personal branding.

00:05:13
Well, here was my personal leadership statement, consider

00:05:17
me your personal assistant, who cares about you when it comes to

00:05:21
learning about leadership. I'll do the research review, the

00:05:26
book, find the experts and share my own 42 years of leadership

00:05:32
experience. I'll save you the time so you

00:05:36
can multitask to your heart's Delight while you get the tips,

00:05:40
you need to be a more effective leader.

00:05:43
Plus, I want to go deeper into some topics and very passionate

00:05:46
about in addition to personal leadership.

00:05:49
Branding, top fox-like building skills around storytelling,

00:05:55
which is a part of personal branding and that help shape the

00:05:59
ways, others, understand who we are.

00:06:02
Where we've been Where we're going the way we tell the story

00:06:07
can shape our future, which is why storytelling is key in

00:06:11
building your personal brand. Will the closer to motivations,

00:06:16
like Duty and love is Jay Shetty called out in his book.

00:06:21
We talked about in episode 51 and ways we can build, trust

00:06:26
help, others belong. And serially, those negative

00:06:29
emotions creeping back in and catching us so that we can get

00:06:34
them earlier and we can be more effective.

00:06:38
And I'll continue to look into the Masters to help us with this

00:06:42
Dom. We got to know in the past year,

00:06:46
like Byron, Katie brene, Brown, Corey mascara, Terry coal and

00:06:51
Susan Cain and I'll refer to them whenever I can.

00:06:56
I've also got my eye on some new ones, like, John Wineland, Mike

00:07:01
Robbins, Mel Robbins Gabor maté and Glen and Doyle.

00:07:07
And some of the topics they address like those about

00:07:10
workaholism achieving goals team cultures healing and designing

00:07:15
new password ourselves. And if you've got some ideas

00:07:20
that you have in mind, you'd like to see us cover, send them

00:07:24
my way. One of my podcast advisors

00:07:27
recently said I was always leaving her pondering a

00:07:30
question. And that was so great to hear

00:07:34
because that is my goal. Let us all question our beliefs

00:07:39
about leadership. I'm also going to Spruce things

00:07:42
up a little bit, like our art and be more intentional with my

00:07:46
social media and do more video, not just audio so I can have a

00:07:51
presence on YouTube and you can find me there as well.

00:07:54
I'm going to work to be the best assistant I can for you.

00:07:58
I am pumped for Year to you guys.

00:08:02
Let me Eno if there are some authors speakers, or research

00:08:05
you come across, you think others might enjoy learning

00:08:08
about. I would love to hear from you.

00:08:11
And on that note, we'll close our episode today.

00:08:13
With the quote, we had in our very first recording our

00:08:17
trailer. I sat down with the universe and

00:08:20
told her I wanted to grow. I told her to use me as a vessel

00:08:26
so she shaped me uncomfortable. She stripped me off everything.

00:08:31
I knew. Made me learn how to be silent,

00:08:36
how to let go. How to Stand My Ground, how to

00:08:40
be more understanding, how to fight, how to survive?

00:08:46
How to be more assertive, more loving less naive.

00:08:51
She told me to take everything I have learned and share it with

00:08:55
others. Thank you for listening today

00:09:01
and we sure hope you enjoyed this episode.

00:09:04

00:09:34

00:09:37

woman King and here, come, Oscar nomination.
