Erin Michalski joins Yo today to remind us of the role American Ranchers play to feed the world safe beef. Erin’s story is inspirational - she left her career in investment banking and living the good life in Connecticut to join the family business, ranching in Colorado at the Eagle Rock Ranch. A life she has embraced with joy and grace. This quote sums up Erin: “She Rides the Ranch so Wild and Free, A Cowgirl She Will Forever Be.”

Erin is definitely a “Girl, Taking the Lead!”:
She began a direct to consumer effort with the focus we can have 100% confidence that the beef you are purchasing came from an animal that was raised with the highest humane standards in the industry. This is her TOP priority! Her cattle graze on 1,000s of acres at 9,000 feet, eating protein rich timothy grass, drinking mountain run-off water, and breathing pristine clean air. Plus her beef is pasture raised and grain finished. After harvest, her beef is dry aged for 21 days. The combination creates perfectly marbled beef with tremendous flavoring.
No wonder her beef tastes so good!! Gotta say: I’m one satisfied happy customer!

Erin is a Colorado Native who spent 17 years back East before moving home to pursue her current passion - promoting the western way of life. Erin is married and has 3 children. She calls Breckenridge, CO home and splits her time between the mountains and her Family cattle ranch. In her free time, Erin enjoys riding horses, skiing and hiking with her dog Willow.
