In our Winter newsletter I talked about AI editing tools but gotta say I’m still on the fence about trying them. What I do find exciting is using AI in the following ways:
- AI is providing cloned voices - here's a 1:12 episode you've got to hear Homer Simpson on the Late Night With Robot Podcast
- Episode titles and social media prompts using Chatgpt.
Other AI tools we're likely to see soon are host read ads, ad targeting, and more editing tools.
As podcast listeners want more entertainment and refinement in production, AI may become my bff as I grow in size. Here are some ways AI might can help:
- Save me time and brain cells particularly in editing.
- It's only a matter of time before any podcast in the world can be heard in your own native tongue.
- Ok here’s a big one I might try: upload a podcast script and have the script read in my voice in a matter of seconds
- And gotta agree with this one: AI's ability to analyze listener preferences and trends in real time allows for the creation of highly targeted and relevant content, enhancing listener engagement, and brand loyalty.
